Sad news from The Beetroot Tree

Dear Friends of The Beetroot Tree

It is with great sadness that we have to inform you that the Beetroot Tree Gallery for Contemporary Arts will be closing its doors to the public on Sunday 29th June 2014.

The Beetroot Tree opened in 1999 as an artist studio and a place to showcase some of the best contemporary art and designer crafts from around the UK. Over the years it grew and developed into a well known centre for unusual art materials, workshops, events and our little cafe.

The economic climate has been difficult and unfortunately over the last few months we have been unable to prevent a slowdown in sales. We are now at the point where it is not economically viable for us to remain open for our visitors and friends.

We would like to invite everyone to take advantage of the many discounts and sales offers which will be in place during these last few weeks – clear shelves and empty pantries on the last day won’t keep our eyes free of tears, but will help to save work in packing up any leftovers!

Any art materials remaining will be available at www.btartonline.com until they have sold out. Any courses booked for July will still run.
Let’s go out with a splash, come along to our final closing party, bring a bottle and celebrate with us the life our gallery had. This will be on the 29th June at 3pm.

We would like to thank you all for your custom, support and friendship over the years and wish you all well for the future.

Paul and Alysn
