Margaret brought these to our July Meeting and was inundated for requests for the recipe, so here it is. 8oz/225g butter 4oz/115g dark chocolate 2tbsp/30ml caster sugar 2tbsp/30ml golden syrp 2tbsp/30ml cocoa powder 12oz/350g broken biscuits - ginger or digestives 2oz/50g marshmallows 3oz/75g chocolate chips Line 8" tin with baking parchment melt in a pan over gentle heat, butter, chocolate,sugar,syrup and cocoa powder. Crush biscuits in large plastic bag into coarse chunks Stir into chocolate mix, add marshmallows and choc chips. Spoon into tin, don't press down too much. Chill for 1 hour then cut and dust with icing sugar. Try Maltesers instead of marshmallows - crunchy! |
