I thought members might be interested in this project; a local young lady, Roxanne Ellis, is creating a quilt/wall hanging to remember the almost 600 women murdered by their partners in the UK in the last six years.  It is hoped that it will be displayed in parliament and possibly other locations.  She is looking for volunteers to make 10 cm squares (finished size-leave a bit extra if it's a raw edge) with the name of one of the murdered women on.  There's a list of the names available on the Facebook page.  Any kind of design, patchwork, embroidery etc welcome. Ideally she would like as many as possible to be sent to her in time for Women's Day on 8 March.
