Here is what Helen says about her course:

Printmaking with Helen Bulmer

Printmaking is a great way of creating an immediate image – and even if you think you’re “no at good art!” it’s a great way to get started.

We will start by experimenting with simple foam printing plates to learn the basics of block printing. We'll then move onto working with lino and you’ll learn how to develop a design from an image which is suitable for linoprinting. You might want to bring in your own images and develop a design from them.

We'll experiment with printing on paper, collage and fabric which could be pieces in themselves or be included in a personal craft project. You may then want to learn how to make a reduction print or to develop your own ideas and projects.

The course is ideal for those new to printing or anyone who wants to extend their mixed media skills.
